Product Manager
Description
- Consistent track record for solving critical problems on enterprise products with the ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in application and platform development.
- Experience of the context/domain we work in (Risk Intelligence/Moderation/Security/Internet Safety).
- Proven track record of prioritising and making data-driven decisions on requirements and deliverables in a rapidly changing environment where the best outcome is achieved
- Extensive experience in product management, ideally in a SAAS / technology environment.
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- Expertise in managing key stakeholders including development teams and wider business
- Experience of a fast-paced, cutting edge technology environment.
- Have worked in a start-up/scale-up environment and appreciates the pace and complexity of working within these conditions
- Degree educated (or equivalent) or degree calibre
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders up to senior /board level
- Product testing: ability to present a prototype or product to a customer or prospect and obtain feedback and insight
- Solution definition: ability to define and position high value solutions that address market opportunities and are within reasonable grasp of our technical capabilities
- Ambition and Initiative: ability to take action without direct managerial influence in order to achieve a positive result
- Adaptability: adjust outputs when necessary and deal constructively with a changing environment and in response to feedback and experience
- Teamwork: the ability to build collaborative working relationships across the business and drive initiatives with buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders while respectfully challenging and inspiring towards a common goal
- Resource Management: ability to understand and manage resources (operational, human, technical, financial) to make decisions related to efficiency and optimal performance regardless of reporting line; ensure timelines are met and commitments are maintained.
